On April 29th, 2021, EMPSi facilitated a live public hearing webinar for the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS).

This webinar allowed attendees to learn about the proposal to downlist the beach layia from endangered to threatened under the Endangered Species Act. This webinar included a narrated slideshow presentation to provide an overview of the proposed downlisting, as well as a facilitated public hearing portion, during which participants could offer public comments on the proposed downlisting via the Zoom web platform or over the phone.
