On December 7, 2021, EMPSi facilitated a live public hearing webinar for the US Fish and Wildlife Service, which allowed attendees to learn more about the Service’s proposed listing for the alligator snapping turtle. 

This webinar included a narrated slideshow presentation to provide an overview of the proposed listing, as well as a moderated live Q&A session with Service staff to answer questions from members of the public on the proposed listing. Additionally, the webinar included a facilitated public hearing portion, during which participants could offer public comments on the proposed listing via the Zoom web platform or over the phone.
